Precast, prestressed concrete decks were constructed for the tiered platforms of 18,500 seats of the J-league soccer team's home ground stadium.
Garandoya Tumulus Protection Building, Oita Prefecture.
This is the precast, prestressed concrete dome to conserve the ancient heritage of the horizontal hut type of tumulus of Garandoya. There are historically precious decorative paintings on the walls painted in mid 6th century. The structural members of the dome were designed to be removable to allow contemporary specialists to enter into the tumulus to maintain and conserve the historical heritage permanently.
