SDGs of Oriental Shiraishi Group

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Oriental Shiraishi Group for 'No one is left behind' and 'No one is treated as vulnerable'

Contributions to the economy and livelihoods

Contributions to safety and security
Contributions to development of prosperous communities

Our group has been supporting economic development, people's livelihoods, safety, and security through the development of social infrastructure and contributing to the establishment of social sustainability. To continue these contributions into the future, our group itself must be sustainable. We, as a sustainable group, will invest in various fields, research, and development; enhance our organizational structure; and practice 'continuous succession.'

Contribute to the achievement of the SDGs with our group's character

  • Building disaster-resilient national infrastructure through construction of flood control facilities and earthquake-resistant reinforcements

  • Achieving economic vitality, regional development, and prosperous livelihoods through social infrastructure development

  • Extending the life of aged infrastructure by reinforcement and repair work and contributing to a sustainable society

  • Reducing CO2 emissions by recycling industrial waste at steel mills and thermal power plants

  • Reducing deforestation and CO2 emissions by expanding the use of precast concrete

  • Continuing to participate in the solar power plant business

  • Performing research and development on environmentally friendly businesses, such as recycling-oriented factories

  • We hope our constructed bridges may remind in their hearts of local children as a part of the scenery of their homeland.
